SAIL along with other partners in International Coal Ventures Ltd (ICVL) is planning to expand its coal capacity in Mozambique mines, Africa. The expansion plans envisage increasing Benga mines capacity to 4 mnt pa and ramping up railway network. The move aims to minimise impact of global price fluctuation and supply volatility in coking coal market.
